Maurizio Sarri could demand Chelsea challenge Manchester City for Napoli midfielder Jorginho this week.

That's according to close friend Marco Brachi, who has confirmed the sacked Napoli coach is eager to see his move to Chelsea finalised.

Speaking to AreaNapoli.it, Brachi revealed: "Jorginho is his protégé, even if he wants to go to City, he thinks about him.

"During the first preseason, I joined him in the locker room and he said: 'Marco, in this team there are two phenomena', one was just the Brazilian, ideal for his kind of football, the other (Kalidou) Koulibaly, but Napoli will hardly sell the Senegalese defender."
