Real Madrid president Florentino Perez has sought out Sergio Ramos since the club captain underwent knee surgery.

That's according to Okdiario's chief pundit Eduardo Inda, speaking on El Chiringuito.

Tension exists between the two powerbrokers over Ramos' new contract talks, but Inda revealed: "There has been a ceasefire in the underground war between the leadership and Sergio Ramos.

"It all started last week when Florentino was detected for covid and Ramos called the president, they chatted amicably. They spoke only of the illness, Sergio wished the president of Real Madrid the best.

"They did not talk about the renovation. That was the first leg but there was a second leg. Florentino called the captain after the operation and the captain thanked him heartily. It was an endearing conversation, this does not mean that Ramos is going to renew, but the good 'roll' has returned."
