Manchester United are ready to bid for Napoli defender Kalidou Koulibaly, it has been revealed.
United are preparing a fresh bid to sign Koulibaly, according to Italian transfer expert Fabrizio Romano.
The Napoli defender has been heavily linked with a departure from the club this summer and is believed to be a target for Manchester City.
But Romano claims the two clubs are not currently speaking because of the strained relationship between them following negotiations for Jorginho.
That has opened an opportunity for Man Utd to steal in and secure the defender, nicknamed 'K2'.
