Departing Manchester City striker Sergio Aguero has his heart set on joining Barcelona.

Aguero will leave City in June when his contract expires.

According to Oriol Domenech on the TV show Onze on TV3, Aguero is certain what he wants to do next: "He wants to play for Barça."

Domenech explained: "His priority, as he has explained to his Manchester City teammates, is Barça. He's willing to wait for Barça and to reduce the salary he's been on until now. His desire is to play for Barça next season."

In addition, Domenech added that there "has been contact with Barça" and that the Blaugrana know Auguero's intentions.
