Luka Modric is shocked that Real Madrid are dragging their feet over new contract talks.

The Ballon d'Or winner comes off contract at the end of the season and is eager to play on with Real next season.

But Okdiario's chief pundit Eduardo Inda, while on El Chiringuito, declared: "Modric is a little dumbfounded because the contract ends in the summer and nobody has told him anything.

"The Croatian asks for one more year plus another."

The demands of Modric, 35, of an extra year has turned off Real president Florentino Perez.
