Injured Man Utd youngster Shaw returns home from hospital

Luke Shaw has been released from hospital a week after badly injuring his right leg.

The Manchester United left-back sustained a double leg fracture in last Tuesday's champions League loss to PSV Eindhoven in Holland where he underwent surgery.

Shaw remained in Eindhoven until the weekend before travelling back to England where he was immediately admitted to a Manchester hospital.

However, Sky Sports is reporting that 20-year-old Shaw is now back at home after receiving extra treatment as medical staff were believed to be worried about potential infections to the leg following surgery.

England international Shaw will be sidelined for at least six months and as many as nine which will most likely keep him out for the remainder of the 2015/16 Premier League season as well as next summer's Euro2016 in France.
