The Indonesian FA are thrilled to have Everton taking part in the Java Cup.

Everton will participate in the four team tournament.

Sihar Sitorus, of Indonesian Football Federation, said: "We hope that the Java Cup will leave an everlasting mark on Indonesian football and we can learn from foreign teams who play a high standard of football."

Blues midfielder Fellaini said: "I hope that with time Everton will collaborate with Indonesian football to assist in the development of young players and to use their expertise to help build up their infrastructure.

"This is the first time for Everton to come to Indonesia and it is a big moment for us. Hopefully the tournament will prove very popular."
