Pep Guardiola will find a place for Brian Kidd on his coaching staff at Manchester City.
The Telegraph reports that City's long-serving assistant will remain with the club when Guardiola replaces Manuel Pellegrini at the Etihad Stadium this summer.
It is believed that Bayern Munich boss Guardiola will bring with him to Manchester his four-man assembled team but will make an exception for Kidd, who served as a player between 1976 and 1979, and has been in a coaching role since 2009.
Pellegrini's current support staff will follow the Chilean when he departs at the culmination of the current campaign but Kidd will stay on and serve under Guardiola alongside his number one assistant Manuel Estiarte, as well as coach Domenec Torrent, analyst Carles Planchart and head of fitness Lorenzo Buenaventura.
