Notts County boss Paul Ince says Liverpool do not need Southampton whiz Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain.
Liverpool are chasing the 17 year-old, but former Reds captain Ince says his son Thomas Ince is just as good.
He said: "My lad is on a par with this boy, without a doubt, but they are kids at the end of the day, so let them play and enjoy themselves.
"He just needs to settle down, play his football and listen to the right people like his manager and his father Mark, who was a pro footballer."
