Paul Ince says former Manchester United teammate Paul Scholes should be shooting higher in his management ambitions.

Scholes is set to take charge of Oldham Athletic in the coming days.

“I find it strange how the likes of Gerrard goes to Rangers and Lampard goes to Derby," Ince told BBC's Final Score.

“You have got world class people like Paul Scholes going to Oldham.

“I know it's round the corner from where he lives but I would like to see, if he was to go into management, get a better job than what he's got."
