Real Betis are due to announce the signing of Barcelona defender Chadi Riad in the coming hours.

Mundo Deportivo says Riad is leaving on loan to Real Betis, with a mandatory purchase option set at €3m.

In addition, Barça keeps 50% of a future sale of the Morocco international.

Barça also has a repurchase option, set at €7m.

Real Betis will also welcome back Marc Bartra for a second spell with the club. The defender will arrive as a free agent after being released from his Trabzonspor contract.
