Jose Mourinho says it is far too early to start speculating on the Manchester United future of Zlatan Ibrahimovic.
The 35-year-old striker was struck down by a serious knee injury last week which has raised plenty of questions regarding his time at Old Trafford.
Ibrahimovic was signed on a one-year deal with the option of a further 12 months but the fact he is set to be sidelined for quite some time indicates he may be on his way out in the summer.
However, Mourinho insists the welfare of the Swedish superstar is the most important aspect right now and not his playing future.
"He is in America and that's the only thing that matters now," Mourinho said on Sky Sports.
"He is in America to have the surgery and start the recovery process."
