Ibrahimovic backs Sweden to beat England

Zlatan Ibrahimovic has no doubt that his country can overcome England in the World Cup quarterfinal.

While Ibrahimovic is no longer part of the Sweden team, he is still cheering on the boys from the United States.

When he was asked about the team's chances in the game, he said the following to Expressen: "They are hard to beat and difficult to score against. If they can continue, Sweden has a good chance.

"But now it's not just about how good you are. Now there are a lot of emotions in the picture, because it's about quarter-finals. The team that can handle their feelings best will have an advantage."

Ibrahimovic was also asked whether he would engage in some banter with David Beckham ahead of the game. He said: "I am Swedish and I believe in Sweden against England. Then we'll see what David Beckham says when I talk to him!"

He finished by saying: "Yes, I think Sweden can become world champion, just like I said before the World Cup started."
