He told the Daily Record: "What a buzz it gave me walking out the tunnel to line up against Manchester United.
"I was up against some of the best players in the world in front of a full house and it just cemented the decision in my mind. I'm sure I've made the right one.
"United are a quality team with so many threats. They put us under pressure for the last 20 minutes but it was a sickener to lose such a late equaliser.
"I'll just have to deal with opposition like Ronaldo. The guy is phenomenal to play against.
"He has every asset and every trick as well. You have to concentrate so much and try to do your best."
