Stephen Hunt joked about being forced to give up Hull City's spotkick to Jimmy Bullard in their 3-3 draw with West Ham.
When Hull won a penalty with the score at 2-2 - having come back from 2-0 down - both Bullard and Hunt wanted their moment of glory. Bullard eventually forced the ball off Hunt and smashed it beyond Robert Green shortly before half-time to complete a spectacular turnaround.
Talking about Bullard, Irishman Hunt said: "He's relentless in terms of what he wants. The manager kicked the ball and it came straight to me and I grabbed hold of it and was hoping to take it."
With a devilish smile on his face, he added, pointedly: "He needs to get a run of games under his belt and hopefully earn his £5million tag."
