Hull's Windass: I'd definitely consider Leeds move

Hull City veteran striker Dean Windass is ready for a move away.

"I'm still not getting a look-in for a starting spot, which is fair enough when the team are doing so well," Windass wrote in his blog on itv.com. "As the manager says, it's the players who pick the team.

"Once they're in possession of the shirt it's up to them to keep it, and I'm certainly not the only one who's getting frustrated on the bench."

Windass scored against Leeds in a friendly played behind closed doors on Monday and took the chance to speak to United boss Gary McAllister.

He added: "I want to make it clear that my priority is still to get back in the Hull team, but if Phil Brown tells me I can go, Leeds would definitely be a club I'd consider joining.

"Bradford also made an enquiry about me last week, but I think they couldn't afford to pay Hull's wages.

"So I'm still here and still battling for my place which is what I've always said I will do until told otherwise."
