Hull's Ince determined to make most of Forest loan

Out of favour Hull winger Tom Ince is delighted with the opportunity offered to him at Nottingham Forest, as he looks to get back to playing on a regular basis. The 22-year-old winger has joined the Championship outfit on a short-term loan agreement that will initially run until late December.

He told the Nottingham Post: "It helps that I know the manager, but it also helps that he knows me as a player; he knows what I can bring to the team.

"I am thankful for the opportunity, because it has been a difficult start to the season for me.

"I thought I had done well at the start of the season at Hull, but then things happen in football that mean you are not involved.

"It is vital now that I get games and get back to playing with a smile on my face.

"There is no better place for me to do that than here, with the gaffer they have, the players they have got and the way Forest have started this season. I am happy to come and be a part of that." ,p> Ince has been reacquainting himself with some familiar faces from his time with England and Crystal Palace: "It has been great, it is always good to see some familiar faces - I think we have the entire former England under-21 staff here!

"There is also Henri Lansbury and Jack Hunt, who I know as well, which always helps.

"The first day has been brilliant and I can't wait to get going."
