Nicky Barmby is delighted to be returning to the Premiership with Hull City.

The former Tottenham and Liverpool star, now 34, told the club's website: "It's a dream come true and we've done it for the fans more than anybody else.

"They have been superb all season, as have the players. This is an unbelievable day for us, but it's one we'll remember for a very long time.

"I'm looking forward to the chance of playing in the Premier League again. But we'll go away and have a good summer and look forward to coming back for pre-season."
