Hull City won't break the bank for a new striker this week.

Hull were linked with an £11m move for Blackburn hitman Jordan Rhodes over the weekend.

But the Hull Daily Mail says Hull won't risk long-term financial instability to do so.

Instead, the Tigers are focused on bringing in a loan addition, so they do not place the club at financial risk - even if the worst was to happen and they were to suffer relegation.
