Hull City owner Assem Allam insists he's strictly hands off when it comes to manager Steve Bruce.
Allam is delighted with the impact of Bruce at the KC.
He told the Mail on Sunday: "The training ground is Steve Bruce's kingdom and I don't go there unless the king has invited me,' he says. 'I have never been there uninvited. No chance. I let Steve Bruce manage. I don't get involved.
"He's good, though: when he invites me he usually invites me for lunch. It's good, low-calorie food and I get a healthy lunch. No wine. I look forward to going, but he doesn't call me more, only every four to six weeks. I wish he would invite me more regularly, actually."
