Hull not interested in loan for Italian target Hernandez

Hull City manager Steve Bruce has dismissed any possibility of Abel Hernandez departing the KC Stadium on a loan deal.

Uruguayan striker Hernandez has been widely tipped to leave Hul this summer and it was reported that Italian side Torino were on the verge of securing his services on a season-long loan deal with a view to a permanent transfer.

However, Tigers boss Bruce has moved on to quash such reports and has ruled out the possibility of allowing Hernandez to leave the club temporarily.

"We've had no bids for him just yet. There's all this nonsense that we're going to loan him but we don't have to do that at all," said Bruce.

"You've seen what he can do. He was the only player on the pitch who could score the goal he did (against Sheffield United). I hope the window closes and Abel is still here."

Hernandez is also attracting interest from Bologna and Chievo.
