The Express & Star says Wolves' pursuit of £2m defender Harry Maguire has been hit by news of Premier League interest from Hull.
Along with Wolves, Hull watched Maguire several times last season and appear to think that any reservations there may be about a lack of pace associated with Maguire to one side in the belief that £2m isn't much of a gamble given their Premier League budget.
From Maguire's point of view, the lure of playing in the top flight now rather than waiting, as well as not having to move house and the prospect of linking up again with his former Blades team-mate Stephen Quinn could well outweigh the prospect of a one division leap to Championship football.
