Hull City are stepping up their bid for Dundee United fullback Andrew Robertson.
The Hull Daily Mail says the Tigers have joined a clutch of Premier League teams interested in Robertson.
Contact has been made with Dundee United in the past 48 hours and though talk of a formal bid is so far premature, City have sounded out how much it would take to land the reigning PFA Scotland Young Player of the Year.
An offer upwards of £2m would prove difficult for the SPL side to reject in a week that has already seen them sell Ryan Gauld to Sporting Lisbon for £2.2m and sources in Scotland expect City to soon firm up their interest.
