Hull City boss Steve Bruce is ready to take a gamble on Arsenal striker Nicklas Bendtner.
The Dane is off contract next month and has four Premier League clubs chasing him as he prepares to leave the Emirates Stadium on a free transfer.
Hull, who had been interested in Bendtner last summer, are favourites to sign the Denmark international, with Burnley, Crystal Palace and Leicester City also keen.
Bruce worked Bendtner while in charge of Birmingham City.
