Hull due massive cash injection from Maguire Man Utd move

Hull City are due a massive cash injection from Leicester City's sale of Harry Maguire to Manchester United.

The Sun says his expected £85million move to Manchester United is set to give Championship side Hull City a £10.2m cash boost.

Chiefs at the Tigers secured a clause ensuring 15 per cent of any transfer profits when Maguire left for Leicester.

But Hull will only receive 15 per cent of the PROFIT made by Leicester, not 15 per cent of the whole transfer fee.

England international Maguire is close to signing a six-year deal at United after Old Trafford chiefs upped their offer to get close to the Foxes' price of £90m.

Maguire, 26, joined Leicester for £17m in 2017.

That means Liecester are making a profit of £68m, meaning the Tigers would get £10.2m.
