Hull City boss Phil Brown says his defender Michael Turner boasts an even longer throw-in than Stoke City's Rory Delap.
"It may be ineptitude or bad tactics on my part but it is something that we don't use," Brown admitted.
"Michael is one of the back four players, one of our best headers of a ball, and one of our main threats at set pieces. He has scored three goals already this season and it should have been four if a 'goal' had not been disallowed against Newcastle United.
"It would mean vacating two of our defenders if we used his throw so that is probably one of the reasons why we don't," Brown added.
