Hull City are closing in on the signing of former Stoke City midfielder Wilson Palacios.

Hull are said to be on the verge of completing their first signing of the summer in the form of Wilson Palacios, according to reports from the Hull Daily Mail.

Former Tottenham star Palacios is currently a free agent following his release by Stoke City at the end of last season and the midfielder has now joined Hull on a two-week trail.

It is no secret that Tigers manager Steve Bruce is an admirer of Palacios after having previously worked with him at Birmingham City and Wigan Athletic, and the 54-year old will be hoping that the Honduran can keep himself fit during the upcoming Championship campaign after experiencing some injury woes at the Britannia Stadium.
