Hull City chairman Paul Duffen admits their ambitions are all about survival this season.
He said: "Our objective is to make our city a permanent constituent of the Premier League, but realistically, this season, we're looking to stay up.
"But we know we're going to have a tough job, and if we get injuries it could be a problem.
"If we can finish it the top half of the bottom six it will be a job well done."
