Hull City boss Steve Bruce is interesting Southampton.
The Guardian says Bruce is on Southampton's six-man shortlist to take over as their manager.
It's claimed the Geordie has indicated he is willing to sever his ties with the Tigers to fill the void left by Mauricio Pochettino taking the Tottenham Hotspur job.
Southampton want to make an appointment by the end of week and Bruce has emerged as the English option because of City's considerable improvement under his management.
