Hull boss Bruce seeks new loan clubs for Dudgeon, Townsend

Hull City boss Steve Bruce is seeking new loan clubs for Joe Dudgeon and Conor Townsend.

Dudgeon has returned from a spell with Barnsley, while Townsend is back from Dundee United.

"I hope the two of them can get fixed up with a new club soon and get themselves a career going," said Bruce. "That's the most important thing for them at this stage.

"It's frustrating for Conor. It looked as though he was doing well at one stage but Dundee United signed another player on deadline day.

"That meant Conor was better off coming back to us but if possible we'll look to get him out on loan again. He's at the age where he needs to play football for the good of his career.

"The same goes for Dudge. He's back with us after a spell with Barnsley. His injury had stood up well so that's been a big positive."
