Hull City boss Steve Bruce is open to playing Matty Fryatt today against Manchester United.
After an impressive loan spell at Sheffield Wednesday, where he netted four goals in seven starts, the striker appears over the Achilles operation that ruled him out of last year's promotion campaign.
"I wouldn't be afraid to do that. We're only just seeing him and what he can do now," said Bruce. "He got injured in my first game and after the injury he needed to go and play.
"Thankfully now, after 18 months, he's fully fit and looks a decent player."
