Hull City boss Steve Bruce is pushing to pull off a sensational swoop for Tottenham trio Jake Livermore, Michael Dawson and Danny Rose.
BBC Radio Humberside says Bruce, who has identified signing Livermore on permanent terms as a key priority, wants to bolster his defence with a centre back and at least one new full-back ahead of a busy 2014-15 campaign.
Long-serving centre-back Dawson, 30, and left-back Rose, 23, would fit the bill.
Dawson is the brother of former Hull City stalwart Andy, while Rose is a Yorkshire lad who was born in Doncaster and began his career at Leeds United.
