Hull City boss Steve Bruce insists he's not freezing out Yannick Sagbo.

Despite their injury crisis, Sagbo has not been called on this month.

"Yannick played for us 30 times last year but this year he has found it difficult," admitted Bruce.

"It's a big month for Yannick, there has been talk - whether his head has been turned by agents - but he needs to go and perform on the pitch to warrant a place.

"He might feel as if he hasn't been given a fair crack of the whip, I can understand that, and he might be looking at the summer, with two strikers coming in, and be frustrated.

"The one thing he can do is perform and go and play when he gets the chance.

"We know what he can produce so it's up to him really."
