Hull City boss Steve Bruce is counting on his strikers to fire them to safety.
Bruce is delighted with his new-look strike-force of Shane Long and Nikica Jelavic.
He told Absolute Radio: "You know in our day, in the 90s you'd expect a striker to go and get 20 - 25 wouldn't you. You know if I told you last year Wayne Rooney was 12, then it shows you how difficult the Premier League has become.
"And you know the one thing I know if I get two of my strikers to go and get between 8 and 10 goals then I've got an outstanding of staying in the division. And that's why we have, that's why we understand we can't go and buy Igwara who is going to get you 20 goals because we'd have to give him the Humber Bridge and a bit more money."
Bruce was speaking on Absolute Radio's Rock 'N' Roll Football Show with Ian Wright, Saturdays from 5pm. For more, visit absoluteradio.co.uk/football
