Hugo Duro called on Valencia fans to stick together after defeat at Getafe.

Getafe won 1-0 thanks to a late winner from Borja Mayoral in Ruben Baraja's first game in charge of VCF.

Duro said, "We've had two games like this. We're looking good, we've made a change for the better, but the results aren't coming. We are on the way. We have to keep working and hope for a bit of luck, as our opponents are having now.

"I am very sure that this team will get it together with Baraja, the team and the fans. It is necessary to be together. In this complicated situation we need to be united.

"The feelings are not good. But, we have to be calm and take advantage of the good things we have done. Let's see if we have a little more luck in the next matches.

"We need to go game by game. More than ever we need the fans to be with us. It is difficult to ask for what I am asking for, but that is how it is."
