Stoke City manager Mark Hughes knows his side will have to be well-prepared for Manchester City this week.
The Potters host the reigning Premier League champions on Wednesday night and although Hughes feels his side is in very good form with two wins and a draw from their past three outings, is aware of former club City's recent woes.
City have not saluted in their past four league matches - which has not occurred since 2009 - which leads Hughes to believe that Manuel Pellegrini's side could be ready to fire themselves back into form.
"We're looking forward to it and it's important that we keep our impressive run going," he told the club's official website.
"We are playing really well at the moment and I am pleased with the form we are showing so we need to keep it going.
"It won't be easy, Man City are a little bit of a wounded animal at the moment and have got a little bit of criticism for their home form.
"We need to be ready for them, but we're playing very well at the moment so bring it on."
