Hughes agrees to Fulham job

Former Manchester City boss Mark Hughes has agreed to take the reins at Fulham.

The Welshman is likely to be unveiled as the new Cottagers boss on Thursday after agreeing to head south to undertake a three-year deal in London.

The deal is believed to be worth £2million a year and will allow Fulham to rest easy after seeing Ajax manager Martin Jol turn down the job at the last minute.
