Huddersfield Town right-back Florent Hadergjonaj admits the players were left frustrated after their 1-1 draw with Birmingham City.
Lukas Jutkiewicz arrowed home a low shot nine minutes into the second period after Steve Mounie's emphatic header had given the Premier League side an interval lead.
Hadergjonaj told HTTV: “In the end we deserved to win, we had the chances.
“We made a big mistake with their equaliser and in the end, we have to score. We had the chances to make it 2-1 and then you're in the next round.
“Now we have to look forwards to playing another game, a re-match, and this is football.
“We tried to do our best today but in the end, I think we were a little bit unlucky."
