Huddersfield Town have launched a bid for Liverpool goalkeeper Danny Ward.
The Daily Express says Premier League new boys Huddersfield Town have made a £5 million offer for Ward, who helped the West Yorkshire side win promotion last season.
Ward is surplus to requirements at Anfield and David Wagner is keen for a permanent deal and hopes his close friendship with Jurgen Klopp could smooth the way for the deal.
However, Reds keeper coach John Achterberg has stated he expects Ward to stay at Anfield next season.
