Howe: Tottenham star Son one of world's best strikers

Former Bournemouth manager Eddie Howe is a huge admirer of Tottenham striker Heung-Min Son.

The South Korean has emerged as one of the best players in the Premier League under Jose Mourinho.

Along with Harry Kane, he is the main source of creativity and goals for Spurs.

And Howe, who left Bournemouth after last season, spoke about Son while on Sky Sports.

"I love this clip because Son is back helping his fullback," said Howe while analyzing Spurs' 2-0 win over Manchester City on November 21.

"First and foremost, one of the best-attacking players in the world. He is back defending, doubling up and showing the team how important it is to defend in these moments together and not just as individuals.

"Look at the team length, from Harry Kane, the highest striker to the defence, it's a minimal distance [about 20 yards]. So, they have everybody contributing to that effort.

"You have got Sissoko almost filling in a fullback position. So, it really is everyone collectively. Harry Kane almost then filling into a left-midfield position. For the good of the team. Not for them. But for the good of the team."
