Former Bournemouth boss Eddie Howe has turned down the Sheffield United job.

Howe is set to be confirmed Celtic manager this week.

The Daily Record claims the former Bournemouth manager is in line to replace Neil Lennon at Celtic and has already turned down two Premier League offers.

One of those, according to the report, was from Sheffield United this week, while the other was from an unnamed club which still has a manager in place.

The Record states a well-placed source has told the paper: “Eddie is extremely keen on Celtic and claims that he only wants a job in England couldn't be further from the truth.

“He has already turned down two job offers in the English Premier League, including Sheffield United only this week."
