Eddie Howe says he has immense respect for Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho.

The two will face off on Wednesday night when Bournemouth travel to Old Trafford.

And speaking before the match, Howe has revealed the pair have a good relationship.

"He was very good to me last season, I really didn't feel well for our game at Old Trafford," said Howe.

"He spoke to me after the game and was very good with me.

"He's an outstanding manager, his record is second-to-none so I have a lot of respect for him."
