The agent of Gareth Bale has delivered Manchester United's opening offer to Real Madrid.AS says Jonathan Barnett met with Real president Florentino Perez on Monday.

Barnett asked if he could put the player on the market, "a motion that would have to be done immediately if Madrid do not count on him".

The president was clear: "We remain confident in Bale. There is no motion".

Just in case, Barnett transmitted the amount that Manchester United would want to invest as their first offer: €65m.

However, there are no plans from Perez to sell Bale this summer.
