Houston Dynamo lose Ching to Montreal Impact in Expansion Draft
Incoming franchise Montreal Impact have scooped veteran striker Brian Ching in the 2011 MLS Expansion Draft.
MLS Cup runners-up Houston Dynamo left the 33-year old former USA international unprotected and the Impact snatched him up as one of 10 players they were able to take from other clubs.
Joining Ching at the Impact will be:
Zarek Valentin – 20-year old defender from Chivas USA
Justin Mapp – 27-year old forward from Portland Timbers
Bobby Burling – 27-year old defender from San Jose Earthquakes
Jeb Brovsky – 23-year old midfielder from Vancouver Whitecaps
Collen Warner – 23-year old midfielder from Real Salt Lake
Josh Gardner – 29-year old midfielder from Columbus Crew
Sanna Nyassi – 22-year old forward from Colorado Rapids
James Riley – 29-year old defender/midfielder from Seattle Sounders
Seth Sinovic – 24-year old defender/midfielder from Sporting Kansas City
