Houston Dynamo have confirmed they are looking to bring midfielder Ricardo Clark back to the club.
The 29-year old USA international is a free agent after coming out of contract with German club Eintracht Frankfurt earlier this summer with the Dynamo hoping to re-sign him.
Houston president Chris Canetti said that he wants to see what can be done in bringing Clark, who spent the second part of last season on loan with Stabaek, back to Texas.
“I can confirm that the Dynamo are interested in finding a way to sign Rico and are in the process of finding a way to do so,” Canetti told MLSsoccer.com.
“Ongoing negotiations are occurring in an effort to bring him here.”
Clark made close to 100 appearances for the Dynamo between 2006 and 2009, helping the club to the 2006 and 2007 MLS Cups.
