Houston Dynamo could not turn down chance to play Man City - Ex-Bolton, Burnley boss Coyle

Owen Coyle is eagerly anticipating Houston Dynamo's clash with Manchester City in late May.

The MLS club will host the 2013/14 Premier League champions in the BBVA Dynamo Charities Cup at BBVA Compass Stadium on May 28 and former Bolton, Burnley and Wigan Athletic boss Coyle is well aware of the magnitude of the fixture.

"I don't think any of us could turn down the opportunity to play such an elite team as Manchester City, and that's a credit to the match," Coyle told MLSsoccer.com.

Coyle is expecting a quality City squad to travel to Houston and is confident it will be a stern challenge for his group of players who currently sit fifth on MLS' Western Conference table.

"You knew every game against them was fraught with danger because they have players that can define a game on their own.

"They're world-class players that could play for anybody. I've got a lot of good friends there and people I've got on well with and competed against before. The players they're bringing are an array of world-class talent, and we're very fortunate to see them up close at BBVA."
