Houston Dynamo have acquired the services of Nathan Sturgis from Toronto FC.
The 24-year old defender/midfielder goes to the Robertson Stadium in exchange for a conditional draft pick in either the 2013 or 2014 drafts which now goes to Toronto.
Sturgis, who kicked off his MLS career with LA Galaxy in 2006 before spending time with Real Salt Lake and Seattle Sounders, will provide some depth to Dynamo head coach Dom Kinnear's roster for the 2012 season.
"He's a smart, versatile player who can help us in the back and midfield," Kinnear said.
