Hooper nets brace as Celtic make light work of Dundee United

Gary Hooper saw his stocks rise even higher after scoring two goals in Celtic's 4-0 victory over Dundee United on Tuesday night.

The in-demand striker scored in the 19th and 80th minutes to make it nine goals in his last seven Scottish Premier League outings.

Joining him on the scoresheet were Victor Wanyama and captain Scott Brown, supplied by Hooper, as the Bhoys went 12 points clear of second-placed Inverness and third-placed Motherwell on top of the SPL table.

Hooper, who has been the subject of a couple of bids from Norwich City, has now scored 13 league goals this campaign for a total of 22 in all competitions.
