Everton are monitoring Honduran youngster Alberth Elis according to reports.

It is suggested that the Toffees are attracted by the 19-year old forward who is currently contracted to capital-based Olimpia.

The Honduras U20 international, who has three senior caps to his name, has been impressive in recent internationals for his country which has reportedly turned the head of Everton boss Roberto Martinez.

The Spaniard has a history of signing Honduran players, most notably when at the helm at Wigan Athletic with Maynor Figueroa and Wilson Palacios.
