Holland coach Ronald Koeman has slammed Liverpool signing Ryan Gravenberch.
Former Everton manager Koeman is unimpressed by Gravenberch's decision to snub an U21 Holland call so to "focus on my new club". Gravenberch moved to Anfield on Friday from Bayern Munich.
"We are not happy with Ryan Gravenberch refusing to play for his country," said Koeman.
Holland U21 coach Michael Reiziger also stated: "You have to play for your country with your heart, not with your head. It is an honuor. That's it, no compromises involved.
"You really have to want to be there and that's very important to me. But he has made the wrong decision and now wants to stay in Liverpool to acclimatise."
